Academic Calendar

New York School of the Arts operates on 8-week class cycles, or “Sessions. With rolling enrollment, students can join any Session throughout the Academic Year.

Fall Session 1: Sept 8th, 2025 – Nov 1st, 2025

Fall Break: Nov 3rd, 2025 – Nov 8th, 2025

Fall Session 2: Nov 10th, 2025 – Jan 24th, 2026
Thanksgiving Break: Nov 24th, 2025 – Nov 29th, 2025
Winter Break: Dec 22nd, 2025 – Jan 3rd, 2026

Spring Session 1: Jan 26th, 2026 – Mar 21st, 2026

Spring Break: Mar 23rd, 2026 – Mar 28th, 2026

Spring Session 2: Mar 30th, 2026 – May 23rd, 2026
